I mentioned last week that my spouse heard a disembodied “hello” when he arrived at the long-term care facility he works for. This week I will attempt to ellicit some EVPs from the place.
Apparently, a patient had committed suicide there. She continues to wander the place “helping out” by moving things around in the cafe, etc.
Also, this weekend I join Queen City Paranormal in an investigation of the Shanley Hotel. The Shanley is known to be haunted. They offer ghost hunting weekends there. All those who are interested, please check the links on this site. (Again, I’m too lazy and pressed for time to go rummaging for ya! Sorry ’bout that.

btw: Hard at work on my book. Look forward to a chance to have your own collection of Entities-R-Us in physical form soon! (Now the fire under my butt is well lit – time to get crackin’!)
A few weeks ago, my mother sent me an article from the local paper in Keene, NH.
Apparently, TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) investigated the Amos J. Blake House in Fitzwilliam, NH. The Ghost Hunters were in town for several days investigating possible paranormal activity reported there.
The Blake house is owned by the Fitzwilliam Historical Society. It contains a number of artifacts from the era and currently operates as a museum. Reports of apparitions, sounds and moving objects abound.
The Ghost Hunters showed up with their entourage of black vans and equipment. Basically, the town board freaked out. Apparently, they had not met to discuss this…
“There is an element of surprise involved in this…” Board President Carol Beckwith said. “We’re still taking it all in, we’ll meet and then we’ll decide where to go from there.”
Beckwith told Keene Sentinel reporter, Sarah Palermo, that she was unaware of the investigation until her husband asked her what all those black vans were doing at the house.
Obviously, somebody signed the release form and is now in a boatload of trouble!
This may affect SyFy’s ability to show this episode. It is slated for an October air date. So, we’ll all keep our fingers crossed.
I can’t imagine the town of Fitzwilliam wanting to miss a chance to promote their museum, drawing in more tourists and revenue… even if it is a chance to glimpse a ghost. It’s something worth embracing. I am disheartened to think that there may be a deep-seated fear standing in the way. However, this may be an awakening for the township. Let’s hope so!

Out of character this week… I’m short on words! Go figure?
It’s likely to do with the fact that I’m putting in extra time at work. I’m also negotiating upcoming life events that will take place soon… On top of that, I’ve been generating a ton of comics.
Ironically, I need to get scanning as I have nothing on deck for tomorrow’s Sunday edition. Don’t worry, I’ll finish it on time. I always do. I’m an expert at extreme procrastination followed by ultimate multi-tasking! I work really well under pressure. In fact, I’m looking forward to a major push.
There is a distinct possibility that I will be on Erie Paranormal’s BlogTalk Radio tonite. You can find the link in the links section. I refuse to hunt it down and post it this morning – running out of time to get stuff done before work. Which reminds me, I need to make a thermos of coffee, otherwise my plans will be squelched.
That last coffee comment is a great segway into today’s comic! I assure you it is inadvertent, since I’m usually thinking along the lines of molten java.
Enjoy! I’ve got a good one for tomorrow!
