New link added to the Entities Ghost Hunter Collection

This week another Paranormal Investigation Group has come on board. Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits paranormal investigations joins in on the humor wagon of Entities-R-Us, Ghost Hunters Comic.

“Quiet Apartment Birds” & EVPs

Nearly three years ago, we decided to get an Eclectus parrot. We had checked out all sorts of parrot possibilities and arrived at this breed as a good idea. The big thing was they are quiet birds who are not inherently noisy…

It didn’t take long for Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore to settle into his new surrounds, learn to talk, sneeze, laugh and say “WHATZZZUUUUUPPPP!” Once he figured out car horns and squawking, it occurred to us that he was NOT a “quiet apartment bird”… This was a  bummer for me who sports sensitive ears.

Further research provided me with a choice bit of information: Electus parrots are quite noisy if they are HAPPY. Of course, mine is a happy home and I now have the world’s happiest bird apparently.

I can relate this to my ghost hunting evidence in that listening for EVPs is quite dicey when birds get involved. It’s a little difficult to hear anything of consequence over the conversations of a couple of HAPPY birds. (Yes, I have another parrot, an African Grey – Alexander the Grey.) Fortunately, the evil lovebird, Agapornis Rosicolis doesn’t chime in with them too often. Rosie or Peachy doesn’t associate with the larger roommates – good thing or the big guys would be short a few toes.

This is just a bit of a rant – though I wouldn’t alter the situation, I still get a charge out of complaining about it. After all, it is kinda funny…

That’s it, I’m making a cold spot!

I love this cartoon appearing on March 1st… I can just imagine an entity throwing a tantrum and doing the only thing it can think of to get attention, suck all the energy out of the air and create a cold spot. Isn’t that what we do in the physical? Suck all the warmth out of a room and spew out the cold negative energy of sadness or anger?

How do we know that spirits don’t actually do that? Since they are only human, I imagine they act just like us.

Stew on that pot for a while…

Cartoons & Evidence…

I spent part of yesterday sitting in a coffee shop writing comics. It’s a pleasant change of atmosphere without all the distractions of home. You’ll be pleased to know there’s a nice amusing batch o’ ‘toons headed your way.

I’m also preparing the write the cartoons for the case study of my house investigation. Those should appear after the batch I wrote yesterday.

I went through the photos of the investigation of my home. While I didn’t get anything remarkable, I did find a couple strange anomalies that I’ll be posting them eventually. They are inconclusive, but odd. So, I’ll post them anyway for opinions.

The barn, however, yielded some interesting orbs. Yes, it’s a barn, and even though it’s my barn (I’m a bit of a “Martha Stewart” when it comes to barns), it is dusty. So, I would estimate it was dust… except that there was no dust activity on 85% of the photos and nobody was shuffling around too much. I had one orb that seemed to “hang out” for two shots, then move over for a third… This occurred when the psychic member of our group was detecting the entity of the angry fellow. This too, is inconclusive. It cannot be counted as evidence. So, I put it out there as “interesting” only.

Smalley’s Inn Ghost Hunt

As you can see,  ghost hunting cartoons from Smalley’s Inn paranormal investigation are up and running. These are based on the Feb. 8thcase I participated in with ORBS (see links).

I took the personal experiences, psychic impressions and activity we experienced and translated it into a batch of premium humor. We had encounters with what seemed to be a prim lady in the dining area on the K2 meter, a high EMF reading and cold spot around a table, and what seemed to be responses from a child on the K2 meter. While I didn’t nearly “bite it” heading down to the basement, I did nearly wipe out in the pothole I parked next to in the lot… (poetic license and the transference of possible occurrences and near disasters for my butt at least, all for the sake of humor).

Enjoy my take on the goings-on… and have a couple of hearty snickers. It was a fun night. We wound up with some interesting EVPs in responses to questions, my dark mass on film among other impressions.

Great place for dinner and a ghost hunt.
