Ecto-Wool

by Terri J. Garofalo on October 29, 2008 at 8:17 am

Alas, one of my more funnier moments… That still cracks me up. Ecto-anything is funny.

I’ve often referred to ectoplasm as “Ghost Loogies”… or rather Merv has. Since ole Merv speaks through me, he’s stuck with my sick sense of humor… or I his?! Yikes. Those parallel universes really freak me out.

P.S. Spell check doesn’t even recognize the word loogies… and I went and looked that up a long time ago on Wikipedia!

Halloween is looming…

by Terri J. Garofalo on October 27, 2008 at 4:30 pm

Yes, bought some candy today. ‘Tis the season. I never, EVER get trick-or-treaters here; it’s just too remote and scary. All the more candy for me. Which is why I try not to buy any… I wind up eating most of it.

Today the Poughkip Journal had its annual round of ‘what are the scariest movies’… It occurred to me that NOTHING has frightened me in years, not even Freddy Kruger. Psycho was a little bizarre, but I’m not given to freaking out in a movie seat. I’m usually the one who helps along anyone else who IS freaking out.

This makes me a fairly solid paranormal investigator. When it come to flight or fight, I’m a fight. I’ve stood my ground to ghosts before. I’ve yet to holler those infamous words, “DUDE, RUN!”

So, once again, Halloween rolls around to my end of the dimension, the un-scared.

If you want to frighten me, just show me physical life. That’s enough to freak the crap outta anybody.

Excuse me while I go meditate and drop out of the physical for a while. Phew.

Naked Earth

by Terri J. Garofalo on October 25, 2008 at 8:05 am

Another of my truly nice wine finds… The organically grown 2007 Naked Earth hails from the South of France. Alas, you can taste the earth of the vineyard as you sip and gaze over the French countryside. I’ve never been there, but I’ve now tasted it.

Always mix wine and comics… and in the morning mix it up with the Molten Joe, Prana, Life-force, coffee.

Eat Cookies,

Missed a strip…

by Terri J. Garofalo on October 23, 2008 at 4:44 pm
Posted In: Entities Blog

Yes, those who are faithful, all three of you, must have noticed that the same comic strip repeated itself… That’s because SOMEBODY, we won’t name names, forgot to upload a whole new batch of cartoons. So, in my desperation, I uploaded the Case File of Acmeville Horror. That should keep you busy.

I tell you, this moving thing is really getting in the way of productivity and creativity… I’ve shown the house twice in less than two days to rave reviews – a good sign considering the economy. I will say, I’m a firm believer that the state of the ‘economy’ is all in everyone’s minds. It’s not in my mind, so therefore, it doesn’t mean doodley squat to me. Thus, I will sell my house and the worry-wart down the street in the fancy McMansion will not.

It’s the Law of Attraction and the Power of Intention that make things roll. I intend to sell and sell I shall.

Okay, off the soap box… Let’s just have fun and Eat Cookies!

Oh, and enjoy the Acmeville Horror, it’s a little lame, but I like it that way -quaint comics.

Taking time

by Terri J. Garofalo on October 21, 2008 at 4:54 pm

Today was a day for stress relief. I opted to take a mid-day errand run and top it off with a little Starbucks action.

Starbucks has a purpose for writers like me. While it’s not a cafe in France, it is a chance to get out in the open with the sketch pad and do some serious work over a decent cup of Prana… i.e. life-force… i.e. coffee.

So, I’ve “Prana-ed” up a few ‘toons that should appear in the coming weeks. Two of these are likely to become “Case Studies” for the Entities group. I’ve done one already and plan to post it in the coming weeks. It’s a nice way to do a storyline. A little suspense wouldn’t hurt ya.

Power up the humor!
