The Ghost Hunters Survival Guide

by Michelle Belanger

You are likely familiar with Michelle if you have watch Paranormal State on A&E. Beyond the reality of TV, she is a prolific author of many interesting books surrounding the paranormal such as Haunting Experiences – Encounters with the Otherworldly, Vampires in Their Own Words – An Anthology of Vampire Voices, Walking in the Twilight Path – A Gothic Book of the Dead, The Dictionary of Demons (which I own in the hopes of discovering things I can sick on Vlad…).

I received The Ghost Hunters Survival Guide for Christmas. I can tell you, it is a worthwhile book for anyone interested in the energy work of the paranormal. I found it to be a great resource on how to ground yourself before an investigation, how to deal with unfriendlies, how to help a client adjust to paranormal activity and how to get rid of nasty stuff!

The die-hard scientific sort might find it tough to wrap around it, however the information is useful and worth considering. We, as paranormal investigators, deal with the unseen, the unknown. Any tool that may help us manage these experiences is worth having in the ghost hunter arsenal.

Grounding and centering will go a lot further to protect you than waving the EMF meter in the face of a raging poltergeist.

So, check this one out. Michelle makes it very palatable for the “un-WooWoo” sort. She also sets up in story form the action of assisting a troubled client and clearing his home.
