IndyPara, my team, along with Ghost Magnets with a Twist, Hyde Park Paranormal, Dutchess Paranormal, M3P, Poughkeepsie Paranormal Investigators, Miss Fanny’s Victorian Party House, John Boles with his hearse, AND Entities-R-Us joined para-forces to march in the Hyde Park Memorial Day Parade.

This was an interesting venture… We were expecting some resistance to our parade presence, however, we we greeted with cheers from many! We faced the scowls of old codgers and Memorial Day traditionalists, but the overwhelming feeling was of support.

John Boles provided the hearse. He wanted to have Thor on banners, so I whipped up some bootleg Entities banners for the sides. I made a mock Thor to carry. My IndyPara co-founder Donna was stuck holding the Indy banner, while I had the Entities one.

It was quite a trick to get the local paranormal teams together to march. We can thank Donna for this. Her tireless organization of the event was tremendous. We are all grateful. It is our goal as IndyPara to unite our local teams to do events, share haunts and evidence. Working together with each of these different groups enriches all we do.

We had a blast. Next year I’d love to bring my horse! LOL
