The Higher Self…

by Terri J. Garofalo on December 29, 2009 at 7:31 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

Today’s cartoon reflects a discussion I had with a yoga teacher of mine. I admitted that I thought my higher self had a wicked sense of humor and would think it was cool to send me off on insane, treacherous journeys… into the nastiest of circumstances. My life hasn’t been that bad, but it’s been bizzarre and often frightening at times. I’m not a fan of dangling off cliffs, etc.

I think about this concept in regards to my cartoon characters… There I am, putting them into the WORST possible senarios… Yet, they rarely complain. I just gave Arno some awareness… I may pay for my actions later when he decides he’s had quite enough of my antics.

Don’t ponder this too hard. You might blow a gasket.

Divining Rods

by Terri J. Garofalo on December 28, 2009 at 6:32 am

Historically, divining rods have been used to locate water. This actually seems to work, though most scientists would say your full of S**t.

Some folks use them to detect paranormal activity. This also seems to work… however, it is nearly impossible to prove. The best you get is corroborating evidence with EMF meters, and other devices.

It is definitely interesting. And, is unfortunately easy to fake. I recommend experimenting with them for your own adventure. It’s cool when you can prove they work, if only to yourself. 😉

P.S. I wonder if Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson use divining rods in their plumbing work?

Airport Security & Poltergeists

by Terri J. Garofalo on December 27, 2009 at 5:35 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

It might be a good idea to scan for poltergeists at the airport. I can’t imagine having things thrown around or instruments screwed up in the cockpit a good idea. To say nothing of the panic random paranormal activity would create in the rest of the plane…

The real question is, was Merv the original Poltergeist smuggler? Or, was he stowing one in his luggage this go-round? Where DOES that guilt come from… (Hey, I’m just the artist, I’m not meant to define everything. That’s YOUR job to flesh out the details.)

Lesson learned… never look suspicious at an airport, or your tighty-whities might be examined up close and wayyy too personal!

I wonder how many spirits actually follow folks on board a plane or attached to souvenirs? It’s an alarming thought at best.

Back in action after the holidays…

by Terri J. Garofalo on December 26, 2009 at 8:10 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

At least I’m in action as far as being in proximity of my computer… One more batch of relatives and I’m done for now.

I did use my new EMF detector to scout out my parent’s house for non-existent paranormal activity. While I did find a fluctuating rise in EMF fields surrounding a wall, it was easily attributed to a wire in the wall. The variant reading might have a bit to do with the coffee perkulator doing its job.

Alas, it was an un-paranormal Christmas! Except for a new DVR for family fun and investigations… Even I need a break from ghosts.

Hope you all enjoyed your holidays and that you are prepared to work it all off in the New Year.

Merry Holidays and a Happening New Year to you all!
