Saying the Name of a Demon

by Terri J. Garofalo on October 29, 2009 at 6:12 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

There are those in the paranormal field who deal with demonic forces. Obviously, it is not something to be fooled with. It has been said that if you say the name of a demon, you can invoke it and create a lot of havoc in your life.

Personally, I think demonic forces can only be brought about by those who believe in them. Since I don’t put much stock in that, I have not had an experience with it. That does not mean it isn’t real for someone who does believe.

Therefore, I would NEVER invoke a demon or deliberately say the name of one. It is not something that is a part of my life, so I don’t include it. It would be wise for those of you who are curious, just to leave it well enough along.

Safety first!

BTW: This comic was inspired by a discussion on Twitter with Ryan Buell of the Paranormal State TV show. He’s had extensive experience with the demonic. Obviously, he believes. Because he believes, he can help those who are experiencing that activity and bring peace to them.

Monty Python

by Terri J. Garofalo on October 28, 2009 at 6:29 am

I am finally getting around to watching the IFC series, Monty Python, Almost The Truth, The Lawyers Cut. It’s a documentary on the group of goofballs that I enjoyed so much.

What I realize when watching this is how much influence Monty Python has had in my cartooning. I usually credit Charles Shultz, but underlying zany, pseudo intellectualism comes directly from the Python.

Nice to know where that sick sense of humor originates! Today’s cartoon is, in my mind, hysterical. All you fellow pseudo ‘intellectualists’ will appreciate it! 🙂

Kris Williams of Ghost Hunters

by Terri J. Garofalo on October 25, 2009 at 5:51 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

Kris Williams agreed to be a Guest Draw on Entities-R-Us recently. Today’s ‘toon is the result of that. Perhaps you recognize a hint of an episode this was based on? It’s an older one… The big question is, was it a calculated decision by Merv to ‘forget’ Kris in the room, or was he just clueless? Even though I draw him, I’m still not sure of the answer… Any thoughts?

Guest Draws are done with the permission of the person drawn. This is what makes the Guest Draw so unique. I like to do it that way. It gives them an opportunity to approve how they are portrayed. It’s only fair… I am snaking their image in the name of humor. So far, nobody has objected to the character abuse I draw ’em through… 😉

Coming soon is Amy Bruni of Ghost Hunters.

Enjoy! Eat Cookies, Hunt Ghosts!
