Today’s comic is based on an actual experience I had at the Shanley Hotel Investigation.
A group of us were investigating the Blue Room. We were not getting any K2 or EMF readings like we had previously. Our reasoning was the entity was not eager to have us there or had gone visiting a different part of the hotel… or didn’t like Tim who was not present the first session and who just appeared in this week’s Ouija Nite.
Our barrage of questions asked the spirits to light up the K2 if they wanted us to leave, or didn’t like us, or wished us to get out, or we weren’t wanted, etc… These did not get us one response. So, we declared the room inactive at the time.
Recently, I went through that evidence… WOOOOWWWW! I had never had so many EVPs in one setting. The spirits were talking the entire time. Much of what they said was that they wished us to stay: “Please don’t go.” “We want you to stay.” “Please stay.”
The lesson here is switch the direction of the questions if you are not getting any responses. If we just changed gears, we would have had the evidence we were seeking at the time. DUH!
We all have our DUH moments. I just like to pass them along to help the rest of you avoid a few of them!
