EVPs & Freaky Dolls…

by Terri J. Garofalo on August 16, 2009 at 7:05 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

Last night on Erie Paranormal’s Blogtalk Radio, we had my ghost hunter buddies, Rusty, Donna and Buddy (Dan played Tech backup for EVPs).

I think we frightened Frank and Jerry as we are a little off the TAPS beaten path… Rusty & Donna relayed a lot of interesting investigation experiences. They’ve picked up some unusual evidence over the years. Attached are the two evps we discussed…

AND RUSTY’S EVIL DOLL!!! We discussed this doll that had some paranormal activity surrounding it during a cemetery investigation. I had a similar doll in my childhood that looked EXACTLY like this, except mine had a white face. I think it was responsible for me not being into dolls… Once you see Rusty’s doll, you will understand completely!

Rusty's Precious Angel...

Okay, now that I’ve freaked you out…

Have a nice day!

Also: I want to add that Barry Fitzgerald and Dustin Pari are at work on ANOTHER book. It is a collection of haunting stories from fans. So, if you have a paranormal adventure you would like published, you can contact Barry on his MySpace or Dustin. I’m not sure of the details yet, but I’ll fill ’em in as they become apparent. (Research is out of the question this morning since I have to monitor my art gallery for “Art” weekend in Rhinebeck.)

Guest Draw – Barry Fitzgerald

by Terri J. Garofalo on August 15, 2009 at 6:33 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

Sunday will be another Guest Draw… This time we have Barry Fitzgerald of Ghost Hunters International.

Barry and his pal, Dustin Pari, have recently launched a book – The Complete Approach. Anyone interested in the field of paranormal investigation will want to get their sorry hands on it. You can find it here: http://www.completeapproachbook.com/ .

Entities-R-Us Guest Draws are done only with approval of the subject. It is a policy of mine not to draw cartoons that would malign or misrepresent anyone. Everything here is done in good humor for the purpose of good humor… i.e. for your enjoyment!

So laugh it up!

Also, tonite I will once again play co-co-host to Frank and Jerry’s Erie Paranormal Blogtalk Radio. YES, I THREW OUT THE OLD HEADSET THAT MADE ME INAUDIBLE last time. …Just think how many jokes got lost out into the universe only to be picked up as EVP on Mars. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ghsthunter346

And Also, about today’s comic… Why sea monsters? I was probably a cryptozoologist in a former life. Enuff with the silly questions! It’s paranormal enuff. AND, why the heck is the word ‘cryptozoologist’ not recognized by spellcheck? Was spellcheck invented by skeptics?! (bastards…)

Meanwhile, go eat some cookies and settle down.

Enjoy!

Flagglar’s Few RELEASE DATE!

by Terri J. Garofalo on August 14, 2009 at 7:22 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

In case you haven’t heard of Andre Frattino, he is a cartoonist who has been nose-to-the-grindstone on his first graphic novel, Flagler’s Few: The Reaper of Saint George Street.

I will allow an excerpt that I’ve scalped from an issue of BSPHI Newsletter (see links) explain:

“Andre Frattino has been an avid fan of the myths and legends that surround the world today. So much so, that he has devoted his life to being a storyteller in every sense of the word. From his studies at Savannah College of Art and Design in Sequential Art and Storyboarding, to the walking ghost tours he gives in the historic district of Georgia’s oldest colony, Andre has made a nitch for him to entertain and educate.

Besides his love for illustration, he also works closely with the supernatural. His interests include, amateur cryptozoology, ufo history, and especially paranormal investigations, where he has conducted several amateur investigations some of which have been ground breaking (the Wragg House, the second oldest house on Broughton Street in Savannah). His paranormal studies are focuses mainly on his most beloved city, the oldest city in the United States, Saint Augustine, Florida.

Andre is working on his first graphic novel, “Flagler’s Few: The Reaper of Saint George Street”, a story of four adventurous young ghost hunters (a modern day witch, a comic book nerd, a pirate, and a skeptic) who team up to hunt down a murderous ghosts who threatens the life of a young college girl. The book was originally meant to be a 277 page graphic novel, but has been adjusted to be two smaller 138 page books. Part 1 is hoped to be released by the end of the year. The book will also include historical documentation of the city as well as a map, and each chapter opens with a paranormal investigative tip donated by teams from across the nation and even across the seas.

Check out more about the book at www.arfstudios.net “

AND NOW FOR THE RELEASE DATE YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!

A soft release in tour and book shops along the real St. George Street in Saint Augustine, Florida is scheduled for October 31, 2009. You will be able to purchase it soon on www.arfstudios.net and possibly via www.lulu.com.

So get ready to check it out! Wishing my fellow ‘toon maker the best in sales and the readers an superlative read!

Enjoy!

How Do You Know If You’re Dead?

by Terri J. Garofalo on August 13, 2009 at 6:05 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

You wonder what goes through the mind of a recently departed soul.

Anyone who evacuates their body suddenly will find themselves just as they are, except without a body. They might not even notice they are without a body. Suspicion creeps in when everyone ignores them. Perhaps they realize they cannot move objects. Their sense of time becomes weird. They know they have to be somewhere, but they can’t remember where or when.

Question is, when will they snap out of it and head for the white light?

Pondering too much again…

Nan Mandol

by Terri J. Garofalo on August 12, 2009 at 6:57 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

The island of Nan Mandol has some amazing structures on it. It is one of those megalithic sorts of building endeavors that would be impossible to accomplish today. And, it is also far older than dirt.

These sorts of things crop up around the world indicating that there was once a truly technologically advanced civilization present in the past.

The odd thing about the Nan Mandol structures is that they are built with highly magnetic rock that is not natural to the island. Apparently this causes electrical activity leading to light anomalies and potentially dangerous electrical charges. The locals fear the place.

Some speculation has been put forth that this was a power station capable of sending energy into the clouds, thereby dispersing potential hurricanes heading into the Indian Ocean.

If that’s the case – WOW!

There is so much we don’t know about where we have been before…
