Queen City Paracon – Cincinnati Music Hall

by Terri J. Garofalo on July 21, 2009 at 6:05 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

Today’s comic starts a series on the Cincinnati Music Hall. The ‘toons are based on reported paranormal activity there. I did this series to help promote the Queens City Paraconference in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday, April 9, 2010.

Please check out their website for the details. It looks to be a real hoot! I’m making plans to attend myself – so, I expect you all to be there!

The famed Music Hall hosts the event.

“Located at the infamous, Historic Music Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. This historic site is known by many not just because of it’s astounding beauty, but also because of all the well known claims of paranormal activity that have been both witnessed and told by Cincinnatians around this great city for decades. Please take your time and feel free to browse our website and view everything The Queen City Paranormal Convention has to offer you.” —scarffed from the QCP website.

You don’t want to miss it! Check out the website for more information and the history of activity at the Music Hall… In fact, you can pinpoint the paranormal events that inspired each cartoon. http://queencityparacon.com/

See ya there! (God willin’ and the creek don’t rise…)

Whatever it takes…

by Terri J. Garofalo on July 20, 2009 at 6:34 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

All of us have different belief systems about crossing over. Some of us think we head across a bridge to the other side, others believe in a tunnel of white light… Some of us think we go to Hell in a hand-basket. I prefer a shopping cart myself.

Today’s cartoon is about that sort of thinking. Here Erna provides this bunch of Cross-overers a chance to get on the “White Light Bus.”

Whatever works!

This is food for thought for those of you who are attempting to help a ghost cross over… It’s helpful to find a good believable lure or incentive. I’d expound on this more if I didn’t have to go to work right now. You can fill in the blanks.

Enjoy, Eat Cookies, Don’t work too hard,

Paranormal Garbage?

by Terri J. Garofalo on July 19, 2009 at 8:04 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

I do not feel my apartment is haunted… at least not too much. I have noticed odd things occurring that can SORT of be explained, but with no great assurance as the situation still sports some inordinate weirdness.

We have had my husband’s PDA turn on by itself. It could have been moisture. But it wasn’t humid at the time.

My digital voice recorder turned on by itself to a file from an EVP session from my old house. I blamed this on the camera which was setting on top of it in the case… However, the camera had been on top of it for over a week or two. Still, it may have settled. That same day I smelled pipe smoke, the same I used to smell in my old house. That could have come from outside. There is a smoke shop nearby. But, I couldn’t find a source.

YESTERDAY, while puttering around the kitchen, a small bag of garbage slid across the floor as I turned to look at it. There was not breeze strong enough to move it. It was fairly weighty with it’s vegetable matter and coffee grinds, plus usual garbage stuff. There were no liquid containers. I though perhaps it may have fallen over, but there was no way for it to slide on it’s own. The tiles were level.

I could not sufficiently debunk this one. So, I think I’m going to set up my voice recorder, ask a few questions and see what turns up.

This apartment is a new structure, but the town of Rhinebeck is a very old town. It is steeped in Revolutionary War as well as Native American history.

FIRE THE GRID!

by Terri J. Garofalo on July 18, 2009 at 6:54 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

For those of you who are familiar with the original Fire the Grid on July 17, 2007. You will know what this is about.

My yoga studio participated in the last one. It was a wonderful moving experience. I encourage you all to participate in this one to empower the Earth energy as well as our own energies.

FIRE THE GRID II takes place on July 28, 2009 at 6:19 pm EST. I encourage you to participate in the awakening of the Global Consciousness.

Below are the details from the E-mail I got this morning for those of you who have no idea what I’m talking about:

Dear Friends,
We are but eleven (11) days away from Firing the Grid
for the second time on July 28th at 19:19 Rio di Janeiro time.
The momentum is once again in wonderful acceleration
as more and more humans discover how you can make a
difference with but ONE hour of your lives.
1. Brand new promotional video
We are very excited to have been able to create a broadcast quality
video announcement for Fire the Grid II. The two (2) minute video
is freely available to anyone who would like to feature it on
their local television station, cable network, PBS, at your local
events and even on your individual websites. Play it and send it
everywhere and help us spread the word!
The video is streamable (and downloadable) in several resolutions
on our site (UPDATES page or use RIGHT side links)
http://www.FIRETHEGRID.org
2. How can I help?
Many are asking what they can do, how they can be of service.
This is beautifully simple: Share your Joy. Share it with friends,
family, your group(s), your email list. Create a local event, gather
people in a local sacred space, your community center or even your
home and meditate together for our collective future. The charge
of One true believer will facilitate a thousand others whose
faith may not be as sure.
3. Team Leaders
If you were one of our incredible team leaders from 2007, you are still one!
The role(s) you played as part of an unprecedented global meditation have
not changed, and you are a vital, integral part of FTG II. It is your
Passion, Joy and Love for both our fellow humans and our planet
that are driving this movement forward. And we are honored to have
you at our side.
4. New languages and translators
Over the past few days, thanks to the wonderful generosity of
several individuals, we have added new translations for FTGII
in Danish, German, Russian and Polish (coming very shortly). If you
would like to assist us with any other language, please write to Annie
at : annie@firethegrid.org
5. Shelley’s video interviews
If you have not yet seen these, or even if you have, I encourage
you to watch them again and share them with others. I have heard
them countless times and they never cease to be a source of great
inspiration. (accessed via Updates page or link in Right column)
http://www.FIRETHEGRID.org
6. Slideshow invitations
Marlene Swetlishoff has created a slideshow invitation with images of
our planet, available in several languages. Her passion for FTG has
been remarkable, and we thank her kindly.

7. Closing Thought
More humans are now awake than ever before in the history of our planet.
And since July 17, 2007, we are enough to charge every positive thought
possible. We have defined our intention to the Universe. Now we
choose to be present and accountable in the energetic creation
of a new World.
With much Light and Love,
Bradfield

Does Vlad have a sense of humor?

by Terri J. Garofalo on July 17, 2009 at 4:36 am
Posted In: Entities Blog

Entities character, Vlad is the demonologist of the crew. Interestingly, I often say he doesn’t have much of a sense of humor. He never smiles, only smirks.

However, today’s comic finds him pulling a practical joke on Merv. What’s up with that? Perhaps it lies in his motivation… Jokes are joyful to some and kinda mean to others. So, is Vlad being sort of evil? Or, does Vlad actually have a humorous bone lurking in his pudgy little body?

I guess he’s not that “one-sided” after all. It’s funny, the more I write for these characters, the more I learn about them. They become their own Entities (pun intended).
