Merv Exposed!

I have stooped to a new low in cartooning… Yes, Merv has been drawn as a streaker. The advent of YouTube provides new opportunities for flamboyant types like Merv…

Merv does blame his stalker for allowing this voyeuristic look onto his physique. However, there does not appear a trace of remorse. In fact, he seems quite proud of himself!

It would be nice to sport that sort of self confidence, however dangerous it might be.

What this has to do with hunting ghosts, I don’t know…

Glitch in comic posts…

Yesterday, the comic did not appear… I dated it wrong. So, I fixed it! If you didn’t read it already, backtrack and pick up yesterday’s ‘toon. After all, it is part of the series, which is melding into another series…

Yes, Merv apparently has posted a YouTube video (don’t go looking for it, I haven’t done an animation yet… not that I won’t at some point!).

Will we see the alleged video via comic strip? STAY TOONED!

Sunday’s Guest Draw is Haunted Truth Radio’s Doug Carnahan and Rita Lucero. They were kind enough to have me on a while back (check events for past podcast links). I promised them a Guest Draw, so here they are!

The Guest Draw list is long, so I’m slowly shuffling through the pile. If you haven’t seen your favorite celeb, feel free to leave a comment with a suggestion. YES, I KNOW ALL YOU ZAK BAGANS FANS WANT MORE ZAK! I will draw yet another Zak ‘toon soon.

Ideas…

I may have chatted this up already… However, it’s worth a shot at again as the topic floats before my eyes periodically.

Inspiration can come in many forms, from many sources. I was able to witness this in action the other day while being bombarded by unexpected trick or treaters. We did not get ANY last year. This year there were loads. We got rid of the coffee candies in the bowl on the breakfront, the change in the bin… etc.

I was reluctant to buy candy for two reasons… One I didn’t want to get stuck eating it after I worked so hard to clean up my diet and be healthy; two I was questioning handing out crap to kids who probably don’t need all that sugar and high fructose poison.

BAM! An idea slotted into my cranial filing system… What about giving out mini comics? Brilliant! It’s a great way to spread the comic around. Kids like it. AND, there is NO high fructose anything! …A healthy alternative!

After doing some figuring for cost and feasibility, I posted the idea on Twitter… Of course I got a good response. Folks wanted ’em. Then someone dropped in the idea of the old comics in Cracker Jacks! Now I was reeling… Talk about inspiring. How can I apply this? I couldn’t wait to get back to my main computer to google around…

I just enjoy this process so much… The development of ideas is so organic, so exciting! You never know where it leads or who will add to the mix!

Carl and Thor Trick or Treat

Alas, I have send Carl and Thor trick or treating again this year. This just goes to show that even if you are nearly 2000 years old, you can STILL hit the streets with your costume and pumpkin container to threaten citizens for candy.

My advice is to give Carl and Thor candy. Thor might just sack your village.

Thor put out some of his idle threats Friday night on Spirit Diggers Blogtalk radio where he appeared for some EVPs. Dawane and Patty did not supply the mead Thor requests at all his appearances, so I imagine their office is a bit of a disaster.

However, he might just hold up this time because they played the new Spirit Diggers theme song that happens to mention “Ghost Thor” in it! So, now he’s infamous in the music world… Here is the song written and performed by Eerie Canal.

Ghost Busting Horse

 

Blackjack warming up for his performance... Headlamp ON!

Yes, my horse Blackjack and I performed to the Ghost Busters Theme Song yesterday at Blue Ribbon Farm Horse Show. He was a little sticky as he tends to regard performances like a kid does an “oral report” in school. However, he got into it as it went along and finished rather well. The crowd loved it.

Here’s Blackjack with his headlamp on ready for Ghost Busting! Mind you he was watching the light beam around the arena as we warmed up. I was hoping he’d be eager to chase it like a cat does with one of those “pointer lights”…

Warming up - Yes, I ditched the jacket... Yes, I spray-painted my horse...

Yes, I spray painted his paranormal evidence with orange hair color… Most of it washed out, but he retains some orange tinting on his ass. Note the natural orb activity on his coat!

More on the Holzer Mystery!

I got word from the source of all things Hans Holzer. In talking with his daughter Alexandra, the voice is not that of her father. It is much deeper toned than previous messages from him. AND, she does not sense that it is from him directly.

That does make more sense to me… for why would the great Hans Holzer work so hard to contact a cartoonist?! LOL That being said, I do feel this is a message to me to continue on my path of paranormal discovery. In all likelihood, my spirit guide was nudging me to say I am moving in the right direction reading Holzer’s work, appreciating his ideas and tactics, many of which I want to employ. This is also prompting me to explore latent psychic abilities which I have experienced some, but not developed.

AND, for all you paranormallers out there – you just never know TRULY who you are talking to. So, take the good guidance and run with it making sure it resonates with the higher source of your being. Beware the negative… There are entities out there who would love to communicate a bunch of b.s. and send you on a dangerous goose-chase!

This has been an interesting exploration for me. Glad you could come along! 😉
