THIS IS PROBABLY THE MOST AMAZING EVP EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD TO DATE.
I am currently reading Ghosts, True Encounters with the World Beyond, by Hans Holzer. This book is having a profound impact on me. He discusses the compassion of releasing ghosts who are bound to this world, etc… stuff I am passionate about.
Sitting at Periwinkles of Rhinebeck, the little gift shop where I work and do cartoons during downtime, I was reading Holzer’s book. I became aware of what I can only describe as tapping on my “third eye” (forehead slightly above between the eyes). It increased and became thoroughly annoying. I could not imagine a physical cause for this. My gut told me someone wanted to communicate psychically.
Ironically, my EVP recorder was in my briefcase since I’ve been using to play the Ghost Busters theme while riding my horse in preparation for Saturday’s performance. I pulled it out, closed the front door to cut the noise level from the street, turned off the “spa music” and proceeded to do an EVP session. I might also add the store was uncharacteristically slow for Monday morning. I usually have at the least a few browsers. No one came in during this whole session. In fact, as soon as I wrapped up, I finally had a customer. It was almost as if folks were being turned away until I was finished.
I fired up the recorder and said, “You got ten minutes.” Here are the questions and responses that I got. Mind you… as I went along, my gut told me this had something to do with the book. I did hear the name Hans in my head. The exciting thing is I have a confirming EVP right out of the gate.
I asked for a name and received the answer, “Hans.”

After a couple of questions, I was inclined to ask, “Do you come because of this book?” I received the clear answer, “You understand what I meant here.”

I asked, “Did you write this book?” I received a bit of a grateful, but sarcastic answer, “Thank you. Of course I did.”

After my session, the pressure on my forehead was gone. Customers showed up. And answers were waiting on my recorder…
I have done a few comics in honor of Holzer. I had him appear on Ouija Nite coming back to communicate. I’ve also used his character in “spirit form” to educate from the other side. I guess he is taking me up on that! I’m more than honored to pass along any information he is willing to send me.
What I think I have here is the confirmation I need to pursue my research further and put it to good use helping create understanding between our worlds – spirit and physical. You can sit back and watch where this leads… I have no clue, just some inklings.
All I can say is “WOW.”
