Did Blogtalk with Barry, Jerry and Frank… yadda yadda yadda…

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

…I’m really tired today. I never seem to get to sleep after a radio stint. My brain gets into gear and won’t shut down, even if I remove the keys.

To add insult to injurious lack of sleep, my ghost hunt for this evening was cancelled due to sucky weather. The Law of Attraction has been sending me lots of thunderstorms. I’ve got to lose interest in electricity apparently…

Speaking of electrical events, not only did my freshly charged phone die out… Poor Barry Fitzgerald had one heck of a time staying connected to us on the blogtalk last night. He was with his fellow GHIers in the furthermost reaches of the universe investigating ice. Actually, it was a secret location in some remote area of the world that has yet to put up enough “Franken-Trees” to distribute cell phone signals efficiently. (I will discuss the concept of “Franken-Trees” at the end of this since it’s such an important topic - to me anyway.)

Barry called and recalled several times with the patience of a seasoned paranormal investigator. He managed to get a few EVPs off of us and we of him. You can review the discussion here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ghsthunter346

Yesterday the website was launched for the book, The Complete Approach, by Barry Fitzgerald and Dustin Pari. This is a ground breaking book that attempts to unify the metaphysical with the physical in terms of investigation technique. It takes into consideration the sensitive as well as the scientific. It’s an important book for those wishing to understand the paranormal.

I will order mine today.

Also, as you can see, today Brian Harnois is the Guest Draw. I want to wish Brian and his wife well as they bring their new daughter into the world this coming week. Blessings to you and your growing family, B!

AND, I want to announce that Barry and Dustin will also be Guest Draws in the coming weeks. And, I’ve been in contact with Shannon Sylvia who ALSO has agreed to do a Guest Draw. Pretty soon, I won’t have any more “fake” characters on ERU. THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! How could I leave out the wonders of Arno, Merv, Erna, Vera, Vlad, etc?!

So, to get your copy of The Complete Approach” please go to http://www.completeapproachbook.com.

Enjoy, Eat Cookies, Hunt Ghosts… I’m gonna take a nap.

OH YEAH! The concept of the Franken-Tree… Perhaps I’ve discussed this before, but it’s too funny not to have at it again. There has been a move, prompted by annoyed neighbors, to make cell towers more appealing. One of these is to make it look like a tree with the idea that it’s supposed to “blend” with the local landscape. While they do a pretty good job with the disquise, those botanical sorts, or those who pay attention to how trees ACTUALLY look can spot ‘em a mile away.

There is an obvious one on the Taconic Parkway in NY that can be viewed as you head South to New York City. It’s an amusing attempt to apply fir branches at varying intervals on a pole. Like Frankenstein’s monster, it is missing the “life” and “treeness” of it’s authentic counterparts.

I nearly got fooled with one in Southern Vermont that can be seen cruising on Route 91 North heading into Brattleboro. Eyeballing a rolling hill, I noticed one VERY tall tree… abnormally taller than the rest. On closer observation it was a Franken-Tree… though a really good one! New England cell tower people understand what fir trees in the region are supposed to look like. This was a fine representation of a white pine… although a really BIG one. I have to commend them on this specimen, not sparing the expense with mere sporadic branches. I’m beginning to wonder if I’m actually missing more Franken-Trees in the landscape. I guess that’s a good thing?

Imps & Assorted News

Saturday, August 8th, 2009

The Imps have returned to wreak havoc in the Entities-R-Us headquarters.

These nature spirits are quite mischievous. Vera’s Wiccan, nature-orientated sensibilities are needed to sort them out. Obviously, she knows just how to speak to them.

It’s like horse whisperers… I like to think of myself as a horse whisperer. I usually am a good influence on a troubled horse. But like with all manner of animals and children, sometimes you just have to shout.

Off the beaten note: Again I’ll be showing up on Erie Paranormal’s BlogTalk Radio this evening at 10pm EST. Come and join in! http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ghsthunter346

Also, check out Paranormal Underground’s latest issue! paranormalunderground.net

And, don’t forget BSPHI Newsletter is out too! community.icontact.com/p/bsphinews

Enjoy!

BlogTalk Weekend!

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

This weekend I’m busy nocturnally… (pun intended and won’t be apparent until later down this broadcast).

Saturday between 10pm - 11:30pm I’ll be joining Frank and Jerry of Erie Paranormal for a battle of whether or not there is life on other planets… continued from last week. Apparently it was pretty heated! Get your arguments straight!

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ghsthunter346

Sunday between 11pm - 1am I’m the guest on Steve Genier’s Nocturnal Frequencies BlogTalk Radio. We’ll be talking Entities-R-Us and my recent INSANE investigation of the Shanley Hotel. With any luck I can get Rich from Kentucky Paranormal Group to join in as he was the lead investigator on the hunt.

See ya then! …or hear ya rather.

Nocturnal Radio and Religious Coincidences

Monday, September 14th, 2009

I was on Steve Genier’s Nocturnal Frequency Radio last night. We had a great time talking comics, paranormal and Shanley Hotel investigation. In fact, the latter half of the program, Sal of the Shanley showed up to banter with us. All in all, it was an excellent show.

Check out the podcast at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Nocturnal_Frequency.

Also, interestingly enough, after Saturday’s religious discussion and Sunday’s resulting blog post, I realized that today’s comic ironically fit the situation perfectly! There are not accidents. I did not set that comic to appear today intentionally, it was a random post on my part, set up on Friday. (Insert Twilight Zone music here.)

I’m off for another busy day. Hopefully, I’ll get comics done and another batch of audio evidence reviewed.

This Cartoon Dedicated…

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

…to my good buddies of Erie Paranormal Blog Talk Radio hosts, Frank Grande and Jerry Thompson. They host a paranormal talk show every Saturday night at 10pm - 12pm. Here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ghsthunter346 Any of you who missed last week’s chat with Ghost Hunters International’s Brandy Green can catch it on podcast on the site. I often drop in and play co-co-host. It’s always a good time, lots of laughs and very informative… and interesting guests!

These guys are truckers by trade, so I know they’ll appreciate a CB radio on Franks Box. I couldn’t help but snicker thinking of them when I penned this dosey out.

It’s not the first time I’ve written trucker humor… And, I don’t watch “Ice Road Truckers” for nothin’! :)

Laugh it up!
