Messing with Punch Lines… & Brian Harnois’ Birthday

The original punchline to this comic was “One of these days you’ll learn not to mess with women.” Yes, that one worked… but Vera is a special case and Merv’s relationship with her is more specific. Since he likes to challenge her Wiccan belief system, I chose to add ‘salt’. It works better, and is a shade more funny. At least I think so. You’re entitled to beg to differ.

Also, Tomorrow is Brian Harnois’ birthday. MySpace is one of those weird things that up and mentions one’s birthday. So, ironically, I had just done another guest draw off the cuff this week. (I’m sure it’s a psychic thing.) Brian once again will grace Sunday, this time on his birthday. So, wish him well! Not everyone gets a cartoon for their birthday…

Chip Coffey Inspired this one…

I was on Twitter and Chip Coffey made a comment about Ouija boards being dangerous… He also mentioned being hit on the head with one courtesy of his mother… So, therefore, he confirmed the risks involved with Ouijaing around…

I still maintain that folks should leave well enough alone… You never know what the cat will drag in.

Meanwhile, laugh it up as my characters suffer the consequences. Better them than YOU!

This Cartoon Dedicated…

…to my good buddies of Erie Paranormal Blog Talk Radio hosts, Frank Grande and Jerry Thompson. They host a paranormal talk show every Saturday night at 10pm – 12pm. I often drop in and play co-co-host. It’s always a good time, lots of laughs and very informative… and interesting guests!

These guys are truckers by trade, so I know they’ll appreciate a CB radio on Franks Box. I couldn’t help but snicker thinking of them when I penned this dosey out.

It’s not the first time I’ve written trucker humor… And, I don’t watch “Ice Road Truckers” for nothin’! 🙂
