How to Get Rid of Zombies

Once again, someone will need to report me for character abuse… POOR MERV! I’ve done a lot of nasty things to this poor guy, but this one takes the cake. How will he survive this one? Alas, he’s a cartoon character, they will revive as long as he has an audience.

I forgot why zombies became the topic of discussion… Usually I remember where the inspiration came from. Today, not. So, you can make up an excuse for me.

I’m still going through evidence from the last two ghost hunts. Sheesh! I never seem to find enough time blocks to scan audio. I’m hoping to finish up this weekend. At that point, I will have something to post on the Harmony House. I will also be able to do some cartoons based on it as well.

Meanwhile, it’s ZOMBIE TIME! I still don’t understand how people can fear the “undead” or expect them to show up on the doorstep for a brain snack. Would one of you please explain this phenomenon?

Defeating the Uncommon Cold

It happens so rarely, so I can’t pinpoint the last time I was incapacitated by germ warfare. I was desperate to pass this off as allergies, but it seems I’ve rolled long past that exit.

Fortunately, I was a couple comics ahead and therefore could dip below sea level for a day. I’m finally resurfacing thanks to Advil and NyQuil…

The best thing to do when your eyes smart and you can’t draw worth a damn is to sift through paranormal evidence. I spent most of the day in front of my old computer trolling for EVPS. I don’t need eyes for that, just ears.
I am recuperating nicely and will be back in action soon.

Banshees and Ghosts

Today’s comic was inspired by a Facebook post by Barry Fitzgerald of Ghost Hunters International. Apparently, he was seeking Banshee’s in Ireland and wanted to know if any of us Irish (or in my case descendants) have had encounters with this screaming diva off the island. Of course I responded, “Yeah, my relatives.” And so, this cartoon evolved out of that conversation.

I will say we enjoyed a pleasant ghost hunt at a gorgeous bed and breakfast. We are not convinced it is haunted. Evidence review will tell though. I have a few hours of audio to hit. Stay tuned!

Sneaking in cartoons

I’ve been sneaking in ‘toons between work this week. Sometimes I don’t know where the humor comes from. But, I will say cartooning is an awesome release from a hectic work week. It’s interesting to see how much I depend on this.

I keep tossing around new ideas of what to do for my next book and if and when I will do a magazine…

There are plenty of paranormal investigations planned though! My team IndyPara and it’s sibling Poughkeepsie Paranormal Investigators are hitting it hard this year. So, you will have lots to look forward to.

In fact, the Garrison comics contain a few paranormal anomalies caught on camera by myself and Donna Parish-Bischoff. I love including evidence in the cartoons. It’s just cool!

So, enjoy. I’ll be wrapping up the Garrison cartoons soon as I’ll eventually run out of gags. Then, there is more to come!
