ENTITIES-R-US 2ND ANNIVERSARY!

September 18, Saturday is the second anniversary of the Entities-R-Us launch… That means there have been close to 730 cartoons posted on this site (I did miss a couple in 2008 and early 2009).

Let’s celebrate by opening a can of “Poltergeist of Mass Destruction” (far more exciting than boring old fireworks.)! WoooHOOO!

Let’s keep this one going strong folks! Thanks so much for being dedicated fans and for spreading the word about the world’s coolest paranormal comic strip! The ERU Crew Loves You!

COMIC PHILOSOPHY

I was having a chat with a pal of mine about killing people off in comics. She did not want me to kill her off in a comic as she was superstitious…

So, what happens when you bite it in cartoon form? Are you suddenly less of yourself? Do you put your self in the lineup for “the next to go”? Or, like Voldemort, are you down a horcrux?

Only Merv has nearly died in Entities-R-Us. I sent the poor dude off a cliff in the Rex Williams (Destination Truth medic – season whatever) Guest Draw. Rex was unable to fix “Humpty” Merv due to the fact he did not pack erasers and pencils to repair the cartoon that is Merv. However, I re-drew him in the next strip and he was just fine.

This might mean that one could get drawn and quartered in a comic strip then be re-draw and re-quartered in the next. So, perhaps there is no death?

Paranormally speaking, one could become a comic ghost… like Carl and Thor. Ultimately that’s up to one’s creator… So, then we introduce God. Does God ultimately decide if you get your head ripped off in a comic? If so, he’s got a wicked sense of humor.

I’d be willing to be God DOES have a wicked sense of humor when I consider what has gone on in my life (which is inherently funny from an outside vantage point). So, does this mean we are really living in an earthly comic strip?

Think about it… but not too hard. I don’t want ya to blow a gasket.

Haunted Computers, Etc…

I used to live in a haunted house. I can honestly say, I’ve never had such trouble with my computer! The darned thing crashed so many times. I had to send it out for a couple resurrections. I have the same computer (working on it as I type this post) and it has freaked perhaps once or twice since I’ve moved over two years ago.

Now, this could be issues with this particular computer… that cannot be ruled out. However, it wouldn’t surprise me if something… or someone else had a hand in it. After all, this entity shoved a heavy chair against the wall with considerable force once.

And so, with that in mind, I periodically ask whoever is present to please leave my computer alone. Safety first, cuz ya just don’t know what’s going to wander in off the street.

Jesus Toast!!

Went to lunch in Rhinebeck on Friday at the Garden Cafe on Garden Street of course. Lo and behold they had created their own phenomenon… A Jesus Toast!

I took a photo for all of you to gaze upon this holy image…
