Blogtalk AGAIN! and AGAIN!

Tonite I’m on yet again! This time with Spirit Diggers on ustream at 10pm EST (9pm CT, 8pm MT, 7pm PT) This materialized last night just before the Pair A Normal Guys talk. So, I know precious little other than they have the TV thing going and they talk paranormal whatever and are HUGE Entities-R-Us fans. Gotta like the latter! Hot Topics Last Night

I had a brilliant discussion with Jason Pepper on Pair A Normal Guys Inc blogtalk radio. He asked some great questions and we dug down deep into the paranormal and the art of cartoons… that mythical place where ideas come from, etc.

I was asked if I ever created any art about my first paranormal experience. Ironically, I did! However, I threw it out… I almost NEVER throw out art. It was odd that I tossed this one. Funny, once you chuck something a new meaning evolves and suddenly a regret forms.

This will be turning into something better as I’m gearing up to make some paranormal paintings. Spooky South Coast radio suggested I attempt to do psychic drawing or automatic drawing as I like to call it… This might make an interesting bit of artwork. So, I will probably explore this idea on my next investigation.

Jason and I also discussed animal communication, reincarnation, UFOs and assorted esoteric ideas. Anyone who knows me expects loads of esoteric ideas and philosophic brouhaha.

The Flat Earth Theory is So Spent…

I Enjoyed a fine discussion with Doug and Rita on The Haunted Truth last night. As well as chattin’ cartoons, we actually delved into the philosophical implications of the paranormal. Of course I love to just debunk existence. It’s a great way to negate responsibility! HA!

Yes, I’m kidding… But seriously folks, it becomes an interesting thought pattern when we address the fact that physical science has no business attempting to prove the metaphysical. It’s like using a screwdriver when you really need a socket wrench.

It all boils down to awareness… We are conscious beings and we are becoming aware of ourselves as spirits, not just bodies. So, do we really need to put all are eggs in the physical basket anymore? There comes a time when a flat earth just doesn’t make sense. Perhaps then we will pack our EMF detectors in mothballs and step out into a brave new world of whatever it is we are seeking to understand.

Old Engine Oil…

It’s been some time since I’ve done a beer review… and some time since I’ve had a beer! (Been cuttin’ back the unnecessary calories and food b.s.)

Last evening on the Hudson River’s edge, at the Rhinecliff Hotel I ordered a beer based on the name… “Old Engine Oil”. Why I would want to imbibe black sludge from the bottom of an oil pan, I don’t know. It sounded cool. Besides, years spent hanging out with my Dad amongst tractors, machines and autos have given me an affinity for the smell of an open crank case.

Old Engine Oil is a Scottish brewed dark beer that looks exactly like what it is called. It is brewed and bottled by Harviestoun Brewery in Alva, Scotland. The owner used to make wooden replicas for Ford Motor Company. He admittedly has an affinity for the internal combustion engine. (Me too!)

Staring into the beers blackness is like looking for ghosts on a moonless night. The flavors are more pleasant – chocolately, sweet bitterness of hops and all sorts of good things.

Definitely high on my recommended brewskie list!

Next time I hang out with my Dad, I’m gonna bring a 6 of these!

Today’s Comic Based in Reality

Talk about getting your camera wet… It does a number on the digital guys for sure. While I didn’t get caught in a “paranormal rainstorm”, I did manage to spill some of “Vlad’s Acme Holy Water” on it at the Harvest Moon Houghton Mansion investigation.

Yes, as a spoof, I was selling “Vlad’s Acme Holy Water” – you can see a “commercial” for it on 30-Odd Minutes’ Houghton Mansion show. Jeff Belanger claims it burns going down… that would be HIS experience. The rest of us found it to be a great thirst quencher.

My camera, however, discovered it “burns going down”… and now the zoom button is really sticky. While the camera works fine otherwise, I have quite a challenge zooming in on stuff and zooming back out again. It’s a real fuss causing me to miss those fleeting excellent shots.

Lately it seems to be clearing up some, probably the central air of my house has dried it out finally.

The moral of the tale is NEVER drink “Vlad’s Acme Holy Water” ABOVE an open camera case.
