The first cartoon I did using Erna was In Spirit.Our hippie psychic owned a grease car that smelled like french fries. Today’s cartoon resurrects that aspect of Erna. Of course she would want to turn the Entities-R-Us Microbus into a “green machine”…
For all you mechanically oriented sorts out there… YES, I KNOW YOU NEED A DIESEL ENGINE TO MAKE A GREASE CAR! And I am aware Microbuses tend to be gasoline powered. However, this is a cartoon and it’s MY cartoon so I can do whatever the hell I want! LOL
This was also a great opportunity to have Merv insult Arno. I’m not sure why insulting people is so funny, I just know it works. Alas, being the brunt of jokes means one is adding laughter to the world, albeit at their expense. We are here but to serve!

Carl and Thor attempt to put one over on the Ouijers… But, Carl just doesn’t have a background in American culture as Thor points out. “Et tu, Brute? ” Of course Carl will take it personally…
One of these days I may tell the story of Carl’s life in the Roman Legion. It sounds like a potential Monty Python flick to me! Just think, I can write all sorts of Latin stuff for all you language enthusiasts – though I’ll likely get chastised for lousy Latin grammar. It’s bad enuff I screw up English as some of you judiciously point out. I encourage that, by the way. It offers me the opportunity to fix my f**kups. (BLEEP BLEEP! FAMILY COMIC!)
Thor’s days as a Viking would also be fun. I imagine him after a long day of village pillaging, getting totally lit on mead and turning donuts in his canoe.

Yes, I ‘m baaack! A weekend away and the motivation level remained below sea level for a day. At least there were comics!
You’ll notice I’ve run a bit with the stalker theme. It’s an interesting concept to have a cartoon character experience celebrity issues. Arno may be a bit jealous… Merv is handling it well by welcoming in his stalker buddy with open arms, perhaps too open. I never thought I’d write romance into Merv’s life. That’s because I couldn’t imagine him taking the initiative to pick up a girl on his own. Of course he would have to be chased! So, a stalker is the perfect match. I look forward to fooling around with this idea further. Meanwhile, there’s hot bunch of ‘toons coming up. Which reminds me, I need to load ’em or you won’t see ’em.
