ZAK BAGANS GUEST DRAW!

I finally secured it going in through the back door. An intern for Ghost Adventures discovered Entities-R-Us and stuck it under Zak’s nose. I met the alleged (he is legit, I just like the word alleged) intern on Para411 blogtalk and managed to secure a Guest Draw. It is up on Sunday, so stay tuned!

Cartoonist Debuts Groundbreaking
Paranormal Themed Comic Strip in New Book,
Entities-R-Us, Ghost Hunter Comic –
Paranormal Humor for the Ghost Hunter’s Soul

 Terri J. Garofalo, author and cartoonist for the paranormal webcomic Entities-R-Us has just completed her first comic collection, Entities-R-Us, Ghost Hunter Comic – Paranormal Humor for the Ghost Hunter’s Soul– foreword by Barry FitzGerald of Ghost Hunters International.

Entities-R-Us is the first paranormal themed comic strip available in book form, inaugurating new genre in the world of paranormal publication.  It is a compilation of humorous insights on popular culture’s current spectral intrigue. Entities-R-Us follows a ragtag group of “ghost hunters”, often with help of personalities featured on TV shows such as SyFy’s Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International, and Discovery Channel’s Ghost Lab.

Terri says, “Spoofing ghost hunting, metaphysical topics and anything paranormal, including ‘cartoon portable holes’ — which are definitely paranormal — is unique in the comic world. Entities-R-Us also speaks from the perspective of the ghosts. It’s a well rounded observation of the world of metaphysics from views of ghost hunters, psychic mediums, astral spirits and skeptics – paranormal humor for everyone’s soul.”

 A Jane of all trades, Terri is a paranormal enthusiast and investigator as well as a cartoonist, graphic designer and fine artist. Her own paranormal experiences naturally led her to apply the topic to a cartoon that is timely with the advent of the many paranormal based television and entertainment venues.

Brian Harnois of SyFy’s Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International fame writes, “Dude, Run and check out this book. Terri brings out the comedy in every aspect of the paranormal. I LOVE IT!!!”

JOSH GATES MID-WEEK GUEST DRAW!

We have a special treat this week… Josh Gates was up for a legitimate Guest Draw as was Amanda Rosenblatt (head of the Destination Truth fan site http://joshuagatesfan.weebly.com/). Since the DT “home opener” is Wednesday of this week, I decided to run it early. So, you get a full-color Wednesday! You  better appreciate it as I find PhotoShopping color into a drawing a tedious task.

Last Minute Guest Draw Okay from Britt!

Synchronicity knows no bounds… I put the Guest Draw up figuring Britt wouldn’t hear about it. Ironically, an Entities-R-Us fan happened to be at the Spaulding Inn this weekend with Britt and others from the Ghost Hunters crew. She dutifully cornered him, mentioned the Guest Draw and got an official okay. (You can refer to the comments on this site).

She also plans to corner Jay and Grant about their upcoming Guest Draw… Sometimes it’s good to let someone else do the work! After all, it’s Sunday and I could use a breather.

Barry FitzGerald & the EMF pump

I had a conversation concerning the EMF pump with Barry FitzGerald of Ghost Hunters International, co-author with Dustin Pari of the book The Complete Approach. Barry also wrote the forward to my new book Entities-R-Us, Ghost Hunter Comic – Paranormal Humor for the Ghost Hunter’s Soul.

Barry’s take on this is there is no proof that EMF fields attract spirits. He basically indicated, if it were true our dishwashers would be collecting entities every time we loaded them up for a wash.

I have a hypothesis on this… What attracts spirits to a Ouija board, a table tipping or even a digital voice recorder, and finally an EMF pump is the intention of the user. If you set out with intentions of attracting ghosts and you BELIEVE the device you have will do this, you send off vibrations into the universe that say, “YES, I want to chat with spirits.” It is THIS that attracts them, not some physical device.

This all comes out of the theories on intention put forth by many quantum physicists and spiritual leaders. It’s also the Law of Attraction touted by many. I continually study this phenomenon and hope to gain more clarity the more I investigate.

Weigh in! I’d like to hear some other takes on this…
