I might get some ghost on Friday. We have an investigation scheduled for a local retail establishment in Hyde Park. Nice to hunt close to home! Less travel time when one is zonked out.
Also, if you missed the American Idol Ghost cartoon, just backtrack with the arrow buttons and check it out. You know I couldn’t pass up the topic. The only thing missing is Steven Tyler and Seacrest. They’ll just have to wait for another version. I have a bunch of upcoming guest draws, some famous, some just regular folks… all will be funny! I’m planning on the famous paranormal investigator Patrick Burns and his team from Haunting Evidence to be this Sunday’s Guest Draw. Yes, I know I haven’t changed the Guest Draw of the Month T-shirts, etc. I will soon. I have been exceptionally busy lately.
Back to ghosts… I took my family to the Roosevelt mansion in Hyde Park this weekend. There are rumors the ghost of Sarah Roosevelt, Franklin’s mom haunts there. I wish I remembered my audio recorder, but I left it on the table. I did go back the next day and wandered around the house after our hike. We’ll see if I come up with anything. Psychically, I think she is there. I sensed her presence in her favorite room, the Snuggery and again in her bedroom upstairs. Unfortunately, they won’t allow investigations as they are very careful to preserve the home and it’s original contents. Yes, all of Sara’s possessions are still there. Of course she would be compelled to stick around in her beloved home. I also suspect a farm hand hangs on around the barn area. That is purely a hunch, I have nothing tangible to go on.
If you ever get to go, it is a wonderful informative tour of the home. You will learn how much of an influence the Roosevelts had on this country (U.S.). Many of the important programs we rely on today were created by Franklin Delano Roosevelt. So, brush up on your history before the big test! AND, make sure you thank Sarah for sharing her home with you.
