For once I am HOME for Halloween. Last year I was in the throws of a paranormal investigation. This time, I’m finishing comics and handing out candy. I decided to add a little extra this year. With each piece of candy, I’ve given a mini comic of Entities-R-Us. The kids loved it.

I’ve also decorated my door with ghosts of Carl, Thor, my standard hat ghost and a couple of demons. I usually don’t get around to decorating, but this year I put a few minutes into it. Here’s the result!

I will say, the comics help stretch the candy further. We have an extraordinary amount of trick or treaters every year. Hurricane Sandy cut the numbers some, but not by much. The costumes were great. The best one was a 3 year old dressed as a Christmas present. It was her first trick or treat and man was she cute! We also has a grandma dressed as a baby. And I thought I was too old to trick or treat! HA!

It’s nice to see there are those out there who still participate in this activity. All the years of scare tactics, pins and razor blade threats, it’s nice to see some positive fun. The world is looking up!
